BayView Homes understands that not every construction method is right for every customer. That is why we provide different methods:
System Built Modular Construction:
A very popular and cost effective method in which BayView clearly excels.
- System Built homes are frame built homes built under temperature controlled factory conditions and inspected every step the same.
- System Built Homes are treated the same as other homes for insurance and mortgages.
- BayView has increased specifications that exceed the typical system built home standards.
- By utilizing multiple factories we provide a wide variety of styles and custom floor plans and we seldom have backlog delays.
- Because we are a general contractor we can customize both the interior and exterior of the home from the modest to the most grandiose of desires.
- With careful planning and minimal customization we can complete your project in as little as 180 days from contract signing.
- During the permitting stage we complete all the aspects of your home selections.
- We obtain the demolition permit and complete the actual demolition in a time frame of your choosing. The goal is to displace you from your home with little disruption to your personal life.
- Once the Building Permit is obtained (typically 8-12 weeks) we build your foundation (a 30 day process) and simultaneously your actual home is being constructed at the factory.
- We target setting your home on the foundation within two weeks after the foundation is complete.
- Usually we are complete with your home in 6-8 weeks from delivery and your Certificate of Occupancy is issued.
- During the above stages all site work is completed such as your sewer connection or septic system installation, lower enclosure, deck, stairs, etc.
Concrete Construction:
We build both CBS block and poured concrete our crew are experienced at both methods.
- CBS is a common construction method in South Florida.
- Poured Concrete construction utilizes insulated foam block forms with steel running both vertically and horizontally. This method provides the strongest structure available and the foam adds significant insulation.
Panelized Frame:
The home shell wall sections are built in a factory with windows installed, and the panels are assembled on site. This method also allows the ultimate customization for the smaller lots and odd size building footprint. This process also takes approximately four months less to construct than with concrete homes.

- All home are built to the strict local building standards of the Florida Keys
- Homes are built to the 150 or 175 mph wind load standards required in the Keys.
- All home methods; System Built Modular, Concrete or Panelized are equivalent for financing and insurance criteria.
- We offer a wide variety of previous designed building plans or we can customize a home of your design.
- Our exterior finishes include stucco, ship lap siding and various types of vinyl siding as dictated by the customer.
- Interior finishes feature: vaulted ceilings, tile, marble or wood floors, any grade of appliances and a wide range of custom cabinets and countertops (laminate, solid surface or granite) of the customer's choosing.
